Overview

The PLC Communication Module is a plug-and-play device designed specifically to extend remote communication capabilities for industrial PLCs. Lingqi’s module is compatible with Siemens S7-200/300/1200/1500, Mitsubishi FX/L series, Schneider M200/M340/M580, and Omron CP/CJ/NJ series PLCs, connecting via Ethernet or serial ports without requiring any changes to the PLC’s existing program or hardware configuration. The module automatically identifies the PLC model and register addresses, significantly reducing deployment complexity.

The built-in protocol conversion engine translates PLC-internal protocols in real time to Modbus RTU/TCP, IEC 104, or MQTT standards, enabling seamless integration with SCADA systems or cloud platforms. Three communication options — 4G full-netcom, Wi-Fi, and wired Ethernet — provide flexible connectivity based on site conditions. The module features 128MB of onboard cache that automatically stores PLC operational data during network outages and resumes upload when connectivity is restored, ensuring zero data loss. This compact module delivers an economical, efficient path to digitizing legacy industrial equipment.
